Safety is fundamental to Roamia. Guests must submit a valid government ID and a selfie to complete their booking. This data is encrypted and securely uploaded to Persona, a third party we partner with that specializes in identity verification and fraud prevention. Learn more about Persona’s security.
Depending on the location of your stay, your pre-arrival checklist may include a background screening with a criminal history check. This protects against identity theft and fraud and ensures the safety of guests and neighbors in the community.
As a requirement of your stay with Roamia, your data is secure and never shared. If you do not wish to complete the pre-arrival checklist, you may reach out to your booking platform to cancel your reservation.
